Choirs & Carols 2019

Annual Christmas Concert Event | Dec. 13, 14, & 15

You are invited to join us for our annual Christmas concert event, Choirs & Carols! Experience the songs of the season as we celebrate together with joy the birth of our Savior… the One who is Truth and Hope… God with us. Bring the entire family and come ready to sing along to your favorite Christmas carols! The show will last approximately 90 minutes.

Featuring our own vocalists and musicians, as well as the student choirs from Chapel Hill Christian School South and Lake Center Christian School (Friday & Saturday showtimes only), this free Christmas event is sure to be one you won’t forget!

Reserve Tickets

Choirs & Carols is free to attend, but is a ticketed event: all guests must have a ticket to enter. Guests must reserve their tickets online and pick up in person, in order to attend.

All concert tickets are sold out as of Sunday, November 3.

Pre-ordered tickets must be picked up in person. If you’ve already reserved yours, they’ll be available beginning Sunday, Nov. 10, before/after church services at our ticket table near the Atrium. (Sorry, no weekday pickups this year!)

Friday, Dec. 13 | 7pm
Saturday, Dec. 14 | 4pm
Sunday, Dec. 15 | 4pm

Doors open one hour prior to showtime. Please note that all seating is general admission.

Unused Tickets

If you reserve tickets and later realize that you can’t use all of them, please return your unused tickets to us by Sunday, December 1.

So, you don’t have any tickets left? Can I still plan on coming?

Unfortunately, no, we have no tickets left. All of the showtimes are completely sold out. Demand for this year’s event has been incredibly high, and all of the tickets were claimed within 48 hours of the pre-order link going live!

Because we anticipate a full house at each scheduled showtime, non-ticketed guests will not be seated. You may check at our “Will Call” table, on the night of your desired showtime, to see if anyone has returned unused tickets – if so, they’re yours! – but we cannot guarantee availability or quantities in a scenario like this, so please plan on being very flexible if you try this approach.

Can I put my name on a waitlist? How can I get tickets now?

No, we won’t have a waiting list for concert tickets. At this point, the only way to get tickets is if someone else returns theirs, after realizing they’ll be unable to use them.

To get your hands on a set of returned tickets, check with our “Will Call” table on Sunday mornings between now and the event dates. (We’ll be stationed in the Atrium, near the main Welcome Desk.) Tickets will be redistributed from Will Call on a “first-come-first-served” basis. We cannot hold or set aside tickets during the week.

Keep in mind, we can’t guarantee you’ll get your first choice of dates or quantities, but we encourage you to check at the table often!

How much does it cost to attend?

Choirs & Carols is a free event! We invite you to come and enjoy the performance with friends and family, at no cost to you. However, because seating is limited, tickets must be reserved in advance. We cannot guarantee that seating will be available for non-ticketed guests on the day(s) of the performance.

All showtimes are now sold out.

How many tickets can I reserve?

As many as you’d like! Really, we mean it. As long as you can bring enough friends or family members to use up all the tickets you take, we’ll give you a hundred of ’em! (In fact, they don’t even have to be your friends. Invite another soccer parent, your barber, the pizza delivery guy, or your favorite grocery-store cashier. We’ll save a seat for all of them.)

What if I can’t use my tickets?

Return them to us! If you reserve tickets, and later find that you can’t use them (or can only use a few of them), please return them to us as soon as possible so that we can distribute them to someone else. Believe it or not, this is an event that almost always sells out! Help us give a seat to someone on the waiting list by returning all unused tickets to us by Sunday, December 1.

Is there a dress code for this event?

No, there’s no official dress code for concert attendees, although all of our performers will be wearing their holiday best! We invite you to join us in dressing up too, if that’s your cup of tea, but if you’d prefer to keep it casual, we won’t judge you for it or turn you away. All are welcome. Please come as you are.

Will childcare be provided?

No, there will be no childcare during the concerts. All three of the showtimes are designed to be family-friendly in terms of length and content, and we invite even our youngest guests to enjoy the songs of the season with us! Should your little one need a break, for any reason, please feel free to continue to watch the performance from our soundproof Cry Room.

Will you have food/snacks available?

We sure will! Join us in our Atrium cafe before the performance for a selection of complimentary cookies and beverages.
