1st – 5th Grade
Our high energy times of worship and Bible teaching will be reinforced through the loving guidance of a small group leader who will tell the same Bible story in a different way and lead discussion and activities geared toward helping kids personally respond to God. We’re approaching the timeless truths of God and his Word in a fresh way and we’ll be more strategic than ever to help kids understand God’s Big Story, find their place in it, and respond to Him.
We believe every kid should master these 5 Faith Skills.
- Navigate the Bible (survey and locate)
- Personalize Scripture (memorize and apply)
- Pray (public and private)
- Articulate faith (share and defend)
- Worship with your life (praise and give)
Sundays at Green
Large Group: Worship & Bible Teaching
Kids and adult leaders gather together in a large group for corporate worship and singing, fun celebrations, games, and to hear God’s word taught together.
Small Groups: Discipleship & Community
Small groups are designed for kids to build relationships with each other and small group leaders as they explore God’s word, ask and answer questions, pray for one another, and grow in knowledge, understanding and love for others.
Kids who stay for both services experience different leaders and activities each service, focusing on one primary concept about God each week, but with varied discipleship conversations and response activities.

A parent or responsible adult is expected to remain on-site while children are involved in ministries. While your child is in our care, we encourage you to jump in and get connected to our various adult ministries, try a Wednesday night Bible study, spend some time in our Atrium café, or enjoy a quiet walk on our outdoor walking trail!
Wednesday Night Boys Brigade (K-Grade 5)
Room 200 (Located on the 2nd floor, nearest Door A)
We desire to help young boys group up knowing God personally through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray for a generation of godly young men who will love, lead, and serve well!
In Wednesday Night Boys Brigade, boys and male leaders engage in small group discipleship, high-energy games, guided woodshop activities, and special events designed to build relationships and help boys take next steps of faith in Jesus.
Weekly gatherings encourage and equip boys to live with strength and honor as young men of God who routinely demonstrate characteristics like respect, truthfulness, courage, humility, and prayer.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer…”
Wednesday Night Girls Chayil (K-Grade 5)
Room 227 (Located on the 2nd floor in the 1st – 3rd Grade hallway)
Girls and female mentors participate in small groups designed to learn about becoming a godly young woman. Girls will participate in creating meaningful crafts, doing fun activities and finding serving opportunities that are designed to grow relationships with each other and with Jesus.
Chayil is the Hebrew word, חַיִל (ḥǎ·yil), pronounced, “khah’·yil.” When used to describe a woman, it highlights her great value to God and others and her honorable strength, power, competence, and capacity. This is a word used in Proverbs 31 to describe a highly valued woman of godly strength and character.
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
Proverbs 31:10 NIV
Kids Ministry is always looking for wonderful people to serve in various areas.
