The Chapel in Green is connected with several agencies and populations outside of our church walls and in our community. We desire not only to meet needs in tangible ways, but, first and foremost, to foster the opportunity to share the Gospel, what it is, and the impact it has to provide for present and eternal needs. The following ministries and ministry opportunities offer the chance to serve our local communities through Gospel-centered means.
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:16-20
34 But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him.36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
– Matthew 22:34-40
Briarwood Estates is an apartment complex near The Chapel in Green occupied by mostly single moms and their children.
