Indoor Walking

Tuesdays & Fridays | 9-11am

Indoor walking in our building is free and open to the public on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9-11am, from November 1 through March 31. When you arrive to walk, please check in at the Welcome Desk nearest to Door A. Please be aware that indoor walking will be cancelled on days when Green Local Schools are closed. There will also be no walking, in observance of holidays, on 11/29, 12/24, 12/27, and 12/31.

Weather-Related Closures

For weather-related closing questions, visit our homepage; listen to WCRF 103.3FM; check our social media feeds (@thechapelgreen); or visit WKYC or Fox 8. We will post any closings in all of these locations as soon as information becomes available.

Christmas Eve Services

Choose from three identical, family-friendly services. We’re excited to play games like Giant Jenga and host an indoor snowball fight in our Atrium, and we’ll have a few light snacks & refreshments to keep the celebration going throughout the night!

Christmas Sweater Sunday

Sunday, Dec. 15

“Christmas Sweater Sunday” has become something of an annual tradition for our church! Choose your favorite Christmas sweater – silly or stylish! – to wear on Sunday, December 15. We’ll have photo booths set up in the Atrium so that you can strike a pose and show off your style!

City of Green | Holiday Concert

Wednesday, Dec. 18 | 7pm

The Chapel in Green is excited to host a special holiday concert presented by the City of Green! Enjoy this seasonal performance, featuring the Akron Symphonic Winds, on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 7pm. Tickets are $6/adult, $2/children (ages 3 to 17), and free to children 2 and younger.

Serve as a family this holiday season! Whether you’ve got a knack for placing the star in just the right spot on the top of the Christmas tree, or you’d like to help us give guests a great experience at special events, we’ve got just the job for you!

Small Groups / ABFs

Adult Bible Fellowships are small to mid-size groups of people who meet to grow in biblical knowledge, to enjoy fellowship with other believers, and to care for others. Some meet on campus and others meet in homes throughout the area.

Simply Bible (for Women)

Genesis 12-33

This spring, examine God’s interactions with the patriarchs of our faith, as described in Genesis 12-33, using Simply Bible, our format for inductive Bible study. You’ll gain a fresh understanding of how to study the Bible, and you’ll walk away with a fresh perspective of who God is.

The Gospel of Mark

Discover what it really means to live as a disciple of Jesus. Join us this spring for Francis Chan’s study of the Gospel of Mark. This study will explore the major themes of Mark’s Gospel and will compel you to ask yourself if you are willing to follow Jesus’ example to embrace discipleship.
